Delivering an Exceptional Employee Experience Mid-Acquisition

Magellan Midstream Partners engaged The Anti for a multi-phase deployment, during which Magellan was acquired by ONEOK. The company elected to continue its engagement with The Anti to maximize its HRSD investment.

The Brief:

Prior to its acquisition by ONEOK, Magellan Midstream Partners engaged The Anti to create an exceptional employee experience using the crawl-walk-run method. Phase 1 initiated their first experience using a case tool, creating the opportunity to capture insights and gather data before launching Phase 2. During our Phase 2 effort, Magellan was acquired by ONEOK, but The Anti was asked to continue the project to maximize their HRSD investment.

ONEOK set out to create an exceptional employee experience by being a trusted partner and delivering intuitive, innovative solutions that enable them to attract, develop, and retain the best talent to achieve their business objectives.

What We Did:

The focal point of this Phase 2 project was the creation of an Employee Portal (built on Employee Center Pro) that would not only embody the company brand but also provide its employees with an intuitive platform. In addition to the portal, Phase 2 included an expansion of its ServiceNow HRSD solution to align with the company vision.

Results:

This project successfully delivered an accessible and engaging portal, ensuring that HR services are easily reachable for all employees, whether they work in the office or in the field. By bringing HR to the user’s fingertips, communication flows seamlessly throughout the organization, fostering self-service capabilities and boosting productivity.

The project also featured an integration between the company's Dynamic Signal platform and ServiceNow. The Anti configured a custom widget that displays the information on the front page of the portal like an RSS feed, keeping employees up to date on important information. All in all, this integration brings employees a seamless experience with added engagement opportunities in their workplace.
