The Brief:

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is one of the nation’s largest and most diverse correctional departments with 63,000 unique employees. CDCR needed a system to enhance on-site head counts, streamline employee check-ins and check-outs from spaces, and foster meaningful interactions between employees and facilities.

What We Did:

ServiceNow Workplace Service Delivery (WSD) was selected as the mechanism for CDCR’s facility management operations. The delivered scope included: Reservation Management, Space Management, Workflow Automation, Workplace Case Management, and NOW Mobile. CDCR plans to grow into their WSD environment and enable additional modules over time.

Results:

Since implementation, CDCR has experienced more efficient facility management and employee operations. The new system is performing as planned to enhance on-site head counts, streamline employee check-ins and check-outs, and deliver dynamic employee experiences.
